FALL COLOURS: Penfield, BILLYKIRK, Obey & More!

We can’t pretend any longer. Fall is here and with it we can finally embrace what is wonderful about the season: Fall colours, fresh breeze, and wearing layers you can take on and off as you ride through the brightening streets. At Curbside we are kicking fall off with new brands, and new items from some fan favourites. What could be more fun than forcing gathering some Curbside employees to model the new wares? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

That stunning leather bike bag in the foreground is by BILLYKIRK, an American Heritage line of amazing leather goods.
Aaron is wearing a henley, cardigan and jacket by OBEY - the label of infamous graffiti artist Shepard Fairey.

Hint: They’re faking it. Steve is wearing the Obey striped sweater, and Brixton Toque. Gillian is also in an Obey cardi and Brixton toque, holding a the BILLYKIRK Small Carryall.
BILLYKIRK was established in 1999 by two brothers and are made in the USA, with 80% of their collection produced by Amish leather workers. There is a gorgeous getting to know you video on their blog that is at least worth watching for the stunning footage of their workshop.
Dusty is wearing a Penfield Toque and Penfield Kasson Mountain Parka

Steve is still in his ubiquitous Brixton Toque, and wearing the Penfield Kasson Tweed Jacket. When riding a wonderful bike, it is nice to be in wonderful clothing as well. The Penfield Kasson Jacket is Teflon coated, so actually waterproof and lightweight – a slightly larger fit lets you layer underneath as the weather gets colder, making it a perfect year-round cycling jacket. And with the Tweed Ride coming up in October, the Kasson Tweed may be the ideal accessory.

Come in to check out the selection, try on a item or two – and don’t forget to bring your Toronto Cyclist’s Union card to receive 10% off!
