Despite the onslaught of rain, it is spring and for the seasonal rider, it is time to chip that rust bucket off the deck/porch/garage/tree only to learn that it is beyond repair and the hole it has left in your heart will be best repaired with a new bicycle. But which one? And how much will it cost?
Curbside of course has a store full of wonderful, magical bikes from around the world just waiting to transport you across our fair city. However, for a limited time, our bikes will not only be confined to our Bloor Street store…
The newly opened ING Direct CafĂ© on 221 Younge Street (on the corner of Young and Shuter, across from Eaton Centre) bought Curbside’s entire stock of Batavus BUBs (a Dutch bike for a Dutch company!) and are selling them at an insanely discounted price with 100% of the proceeds donated to Go Green Go Dutch Go Bike Ride on May 29, which in turn helps provide underprivileged kids with bikes, helmets and locks.

This is a part of ING’s Friends of Savers program that features local businesses that offer real value. The Batavus BUBs start at $400 (down from their original price of $650) with varying prices depending on the included accessories.

These photos are of their beautiful cafe featuring the stunning array of BUBs waiting to be taken home by YOU! They will be on sale until Mid-June (or until they run out!).
